Believe it or not most dermatologists agree that by the age of 20 you should really start using a face cream if you want to avoid having too much issues with wrinkles as you get older. Apparently the words you're "never too young to start" has never applied more than in the role of using a face cream and you may just owe it to yourself to actually start using a face cream of the anti-aging variety sooner than you think.
The fact is that everything from the gravitational force that pulls down the body's tissues, moisture loss in the skin, the breakdown of collagen to the damage over time affects the onset of wrinkles and skin sagging and using a face cream is just one of the things you can do to mitigate that from happening.
But how do you separate the fact from the fictional claims of most cosmetic companies when you're looking for the right face cream to use? Well there's not real definite guide but here are a few things you should keep in mind.
The CSC and you
The first thing you should consider is whether the manufacturer of the face cream you want to use has signed the Compact for Safe Cosmetics. Basically it's a regulation that makes sure that the company you're buying your face cream from has used only the best and the safest ingredients when they made that face cream. Basically it makes sure that harmful chemicals and the harsh abrasives typically found in the anti wrinkle face cream are not in the bottle that you're buying.
Warning signs everywhere
If you cant make sure that the face cream you're buying is CSC mandated then at least look at the ingredients of the face cream itself. If your face cream used any form of chemicals known as parabens (DEA, MEA, or TEA) then skip it like the plague because those have been known to be cancerous. You should also check your face cream for an ingredient called Dioxane as well because it's a well known toxin and is definitely not good for you.
If your current face cream has this by the way, if would only be common sense to throw away that bottle now. The fact of the matter is that most companies try to cut costs by using these chemicals as ingredients because they're cheaper than natural products. The sad reality is that most people don't realize what they do.
The bottom line here is that there is nothing wrong with fighting back the clock. You just have to make sure that you're not hurting yourself more in the process.
There are many excellent face cream products in the market. You can also look for face cream products from websites such as online auction sites.
